Sonar Ethereum Bridge: A Guide
How to bridge PING and ePing between BSC and Ethereum Networks.
1. Connect your wallet
On the connection pop-up, select Metamask or WalletConnect (for TrustWallet and others).
Once you are connected the receiving address will automatically be filled in and you can proceed to converting your PING/ePING.
Security tip for Metamask Users: with the MM browser extension on a PC, you have to manually disconnect from Metamask even after pressing ‘disconnect’ from the website you are on.
2. Convert PING<>ePING:
Note: You will receive 10% less tokens during the bridge transaction due to the PING tokenomics stated in Sonar’s Whitepaper.
From PING to ePING
Make sure that you have PING in your wallet and that it is connected to the Binance Smart Chain Network. You will need BNB for the transaction fees.
- Enter the amount of PING that you want to bridge
- Press ‘Convert PING into ePING’
From ePING to PING
Make sure that you have ePING in your wallet and that it is connected to the Ethereum Network. You will need Ethereum for the transaction fees.
- Enter the amount of ePING that you want to bridge
- Press ‘Convert ePING into PING’
Tip: The bridge will automatically ask you to change your network to the appropriate blockchain that you are trying to send your tokens from.
3. Wait a couple minutes
You will be able to track the progress of your transaction in the field below the swap UI.
Once the transaction has finalized, a window will open informing you if the transaction has completed or failed.
What if the transaction fails?
No problem, network issues are common within bridges — just try again.
If you are having continued issues with completing the transaction, please contact our support team via Telegram or Discord.
